Exactly - but don’t really because the charges could be bad and no one in their right mind wants to sit in jail on some dumb shit..... I did just about 2 days just to prove a point. ...... And I’m still out on bail but whatever. Sometimes you have to go a bit crazy just to be heard. I’m pretty good at this game.

I'd say a lot of this could apply to reading other peoples' comments. We read, but we don't absorb. We just argue, usually badly, without taking time to think "where is this comment coming from and even if I don't like it, is there anything I can learn from it?".
