These people take $10,000 out of your pocket and give you $1,000 back, and you call it a great deal. Fucking Christ, you are an easy mark.

“I don’t want my shower and toilet to be the same thing.”
I’d love to have an RV and travel the country on a whim. But no part of that dream of freedom includes living in a compound with a bunch of fancy assholes.
I would assume Fancy Kristen would be using a Prevost RV. A new one costs about 15-20 times more than my 3 bedroom house.
Of course, it’s also unclear what sort of property taxes these RV inhabitants are subject to.
I think pop culture latched onto the “you never ever say that word EVER” and as a result a lot of people hopped on the bandwagon proclaiming that “cunt” is just the worst thing you can tell to a woman.
As a cunt, it is entirely my prerogative whether I get to use the word or not.
As an Australian we are pretty free with the c-bomb with one major exception, it is not ok for a man to call a woman one. That word does not cross gender lines.
For the millionth time, in regards to every Trump and every member of Trump’s administration:
I just watched the TT3D movie and they talk about dying a lot. It isn’t something unexpected when it happens, and when they would bring up friends or family, they would talk about how they died doing something they loved. It was a very different perspective, but hearing real riders rally about it made sound more life…
Your altruism is noble, but why the need to project your belief on others? They’re not gladiators, they race at the TT of their own free will.
Years ago, my dad used to race, mainly sidecar grasstrack but also sidecar roadracing. Very occasionally, I used to ride in the chair.
Good argument, riding is serious work. Ironically, I think riding in traffic, riding in a straight line, and slagging through strip mall intersections can be more dangerous than whipping it on a curvy rode. In the former, I am uninvolved, bored and irritated. In the latter, well, you ride- I think you get my point.
Not only are the riders of this course historical in their own right, but so are the bikes. I have to recommend the book ‘The Art of the Racing Motorcycle’ for anyone interested in learning the history of the bikes at the Isle of Man (LOTS of pictures as well as great toilet reading). 14-speed two-strokes, V8’s, the…
These racers are not here against their will, nor are you forced to watch the race against yours. All participants, bother racers and spectators, are volunteers. The value of one’s life is what one assigns to himself. We all value life differently, and none of us has the right (or should have) to tell another how to…
People aren’t being conscripted into these races. The great ideal of the Western World is “individual liberty.” We should allow people to make choices for themselves, when the impact of their decision affects only themselves. At the end of the day, why should society value the life of a person more than s/he values…
First let me say RIP to follow riders.
The Isle of Man IS real road racing. No mamby-pamby mollycoddling going on there.
Nice story, shame about the headline.
At a certain point, you stop being shocked by how many people have died here. The shock is how many are still alive.
