I wondered that as well. I recently had a serious health emergency, and the ambulance crew was apparently there in 10 or so (I’m told; I was busy being unconscious!). And they only made it there so quickly because they just so happened to be in the area. Two minutes seems....optimistic.

I grew up in a rural area too - know two kids who died in ATV accidents. My parents would’ve killed me if I’d even considered getting on one...they didn’t need to though, I was petrified of them after the first death, let alone the second.

Yeah, I work for a small charity that’s at 80% women at the HQ level. A strike could seriously hurt our local staff and our projects’ beneficiaries, all of which are located in developing countries. I couldn’t in good conscience leave my field team hanging.
