It’s based on the principles of est. It is a cult, but it isn’t the same cult as Scientology.

I agree with most of your post here, but with respect, I wouldn’t call it a small community. There are almost 100,000 Persian-Americans in greater Los Angeles, of all creeds, and many quite prominent and successful. I know you weren’t saying otherwise, but I wanted to point out it’s actually a sizable diaspora.

Nah. Queer people have to deal with this stuff all the time - Wendy was being messy (shocker), and saying “No, you’re not my type” isn’t out of line.

Respect and disagree totally. Saying Wendy was problematic is an understatement, especially back around the time Brat was hot. Wendy was the definition of messy chaos influencer. She made it her business to be as disrespectful and gossipy as FCC regulations would allow. Brat saying she didn’t find Wendy attractive

Dawn didn't get the flowers. Shirley did. That's racist!

Thank you for saying this.  I was going to, but I got distracted by work.

Not enough stars in the heavens...

Ouch.

Knives Out was badly written? You really want to criticize someone else's writing?

That her response to accusations of a toxic culture by employees is an emphasis on how her GUESTS perceived the environment tells me everything I need to know about what that workplace was actually like.

The fact that you are able to have this reaction is proof of how profoundly fucked up our system is. A murderer getting a murder conviction should be the norm, not something to mark on your calendar as “it happened once”.

If it helps at all I’ve had both shots and it’s honestly the smallest needle I’ve ever felt. For the second shot, I was like, did you even do it?  Then your arm feels like you’ve been punched, HARD, for a couple days.  That, for me, was way worse than the injection itself.  Good luck, and congrats!

Yeah sorry, but this show is dead to me now. Reality TV is supposed to be fun escapism, and there’s nothing fun or escapist about watching people sitting around having extremely awkward “Race 101" conversations. Also it could’ve been mildly interesting if they picked an actual proud, confident Black man as the “first

To me, one of the takeaways from Trachtenberg’s tweet - knowing she was a very prolific child actress - was that her education was probably uneven, frequently interrupted, and involved many different teachers, different schools, and different locations. My guess is that her writing skills are underdeveloped.

Former Trump supporters are welcome to join me, but I won’t move an inch to meet them in the middle.

Harron, SNS should not be filed to Murkowski. FFS, been looking for it, and it showed up under Politics (and don’t get me started on why there is a Politics AND a separate Elections category). I can’t find shit here anymore.

This was most definitely an ‘you’re too uppity’ insult but half the commenters aren’t getting it or caring.

Do you really think they look that much alike? She’s just a brunette white lady. I mean, I am also a brunette white lady. Maybe I can’t tell us all apart? Lol

I was born and raised in Manhattan, and I’m clearly biased but I do think that New York City is the greatest city in the world (despite the fact that I moved to the other side of the planet well over a decade ago when I thought that George W Bush getting re-elected was the worst thing that could happen to American
