Umm, Waitress was announced and had a theater before Eclipsed was confirmed to transfer from The Public. You go by the date of the press release, so Waitress was first.

Inthe Broadway version, you actually get to see her mother onstage and one of the songs about Jenna’s relationship to Earl is replaced with one about her mother giving her the lve of baking. It’s beautiful and Jessie sings the FUCK out of it.

You can hear most of the songs sung by Sara Bareilles on her concept album, Waitress. They’re great, though one of them has been replaces with an even better song.
