I’d have to say that IMO, ~$1800/yr for upkeep in a well-kept example of a car that is fairly exotic in its layout and engineering is not bad. I drop about $1400 every 6-8 months for consumables and general repairs on my current cars, neither of which are German. If you’re a single and have the spare cash, why not?

Ya. Now it’s wearing old timey pilot goggles.

Better interior, too.

Hunter Green with gold pinstripes. CANNOT GET MORE 90s.

The MkIV Supra may be the first car in automotive history to skyrocket in value because of what can be done to make it NON-stock.

Nice SC. Although I’d somewhat question the logic in putting on a body kit that makes it look like a 90s Dodge.

Too many links to post, but:

Take off the fake scoop and pretentious rear light grilles and it’s not half bad. I live in the Phoenix area and while I haven’t seen this one, I’ve seen plenty of other interesting Jeep concoctions. The WJ is the new platform everyone is sawing apart and welding on since all the XJs are taken at this point. ZJ

Really?! I thought the “5.3l” was as TOtL as they got. CarGurus here I come!

Wait, did you just say Saab helped keep GM afloat? With their dismal sales numbers and public U prof customer base? Or are you saying its engineering contributions helped GM drop available tech into some product gaps that would have otherwise hastened their demise?

While these were not great trucks, $2000 for one that’s ostensibly running just fine makes this an easy NP.

I get what he’s trying to do and I hope they get the funds they need. But nobody’s buying this duo at $14k. The work on the TDI car looks legit good but that’s a lot to ask for cars that are 24 and 27 years old.

It goes without saying, but good riddance. I hope she enjoys peddling snack food in obscurity at her local Triple-A park.

I encountered something like that a few weeks ago over an AutoTrader ad, but they gave up much quicker than they did with you.

Based on a recent experience looking for Chevy SSs on AutoTrader, I think scammers run this in reverse, too. They’ll try to reel people in with a car that’s priced well below market value. The ad will say the owner is now living outside the country and just needs to get rid of the car so they’re willing to take a low

This sort of thing is definitely not relegated to Craigslist. I was selling a car 5 months ago and posted ads on AutoTrader and Cars.com. Within an hour I got one of these kinds of texts from a “person” claiming to be very interested in my car and that he’d send someone over to look at it and give me money. I was of

A man after my own heart. These were the best-looking TAs ever. Not fast at all compared to today’s metal, or even 90s F-bodies. But damn they look swank now compared to the comic book that was the 98-02 TA.

Ann Coulter is a poor man’s Ann Coulter. Tomi Lahren wants to be Ann Coulter, and clearly she’s willing to descend the staircase.

LOL no it’s not. Don’t pretend to tell people who actually understand the concept what it means, because we know what it is and means, and what you’ve described is definitely not it. You’re hiding behind a generic dictionary definition that has zero context.

“Shees, did you peeps ever do the math?”
