Same engine (block) even. What do I win?

I have a ‘17 Civic hatchback and a ‘17 NSX. They both use the same oil plug washers and coolant, so it makes maintenance a bit easier.

I’ll pass on calling dibs. Few things are more humiliating than being underwater on a Hyundai.

Honestly? I can’t imagine Toyota having the gall to do this without already having plans in motion to bring it to American soil; I mean, shit, just look at all the positive responses they got!

I would buy it. In my 37 years on this earth i have never purchased a car with an automatic transmission or more than 2 doors. I would 100 percent buy it.

Don’t feel too bad... All those who say they would buy this in North America end up with a Rav4 or Highlander.

Wrong, The Golf R proves just how bad the 5 cyl is. Sure the 5cyl makes more power, but its heavier and makes whatever it is in handle like a cow with broken front legs.

Great write up. This may be because it weighs significantly less but I have routinely pulled a 60’ trailer behind a pickup and was told by employers that anything bigger would require a semi and professional license but I could pull that with a class c legally.

OK, former trucker and mechanical engineer here. I just wanted to address this kluge-job, and answer a few of your questions:

Holy Grail?

Naturally, I bought it. Sight unseen. Because I’m a fool.

Pretty sure it’s tetanus.

I am very excited to follow this one, even more than the rest. Good luck on your trip home, you’re going to need it!

Rent a sketchy trailer with bad tires and tow it home with one of your other half dead Jeeps. And hope this does not happen in Gary Indiana. And then write about it. Instant story. Bring tools and a expense account

No need to change the clutch in a parking lot- use parking garages on weekends- not that I have ever done that

Hopefully someone nice will offer you a heated garage to swap those parts in!

You have a disease.

You seem to have a lot of holy grails.
