I think the most important bit is that giving players the ability to peek around corners and over low objects tends to weigh the game heavily in favor of campers. You saw this a lot in PUBG.

What’s the difference between COD’s SBMM and other shooters? What you describe seems like it would be the experience for any game. You’re a bit “overranked” when you’re still cold, then you hit your stride and play to your ranking. What’s different in the way they do things?

I usually push for around 1k healing per minute of game play, at least. In OW1, that was the general standard for healers to hover around for decent play.
