I think even developers who are just doing it for fun wants their game to have exposure so people actually play it. This costs money obviously and thus the need for a middle ground.

Except according to the author not all games on this list are created equal and none of the bundles completely separate the good from the bad, so buying just the games you would actually play will be even closer to $10.

Its actually a great anti-NFT. It provides many of the benefits of an NFT without tying it to crypto, thus proving there is nothing unique crypto or NFTs can do for gaming.

You equated gambling with betting. Gambling just means taking a risky action, usually with money. If you put money into a company you are gambling that they do well. Also stock brokers are the literal equivalent of bookmakers, no matter who wins or loses, they win.
