I know.

I like how the header image shows Stardew Valley. "It can run anything. SEE?!??! IT CAN RUN STARDEW VALLEY!!!!"

I’m not disagreeing with you in a practical sense. My argument is that he SHOULD face a little bit of prison time, not that he inevitably will. I just don’t think fining him or just publicly shaming him is enough accountability in this case.

Criminal negligence, to which he is almost admitting guilt to. I’m not a legal scholar so I’m not entirely sure if negligence applies to sexual abuse but I don’t know morally why it shouldn’t.

Yeah, well twitch is a lot cleaner platform in general than YouTube IMO.

Why are you stanning for Activision? Not only is there a lot of accusations against them as well, they have had a lot of bad press before this came out on a variety of issues. They also along with blizzard crafted a terrible response letter.

He either hired/approved of some of these HR people himself or he hired/approved of the people who did, either way there is responsibility on him. From my experience most impactful things that HR does is reviewed by upper management anyhow, HR is there to protect them and they want to be sure they are being properly

If he is so ashamed and mortified of what went wrong then he should be ready to face the consequences including fines and some time in a low security prison. That's the only way I'll believe his sincerity, plead guilty.

I mean, it's pretty obvious though right? Games made from passion are always better than whale-hunting games.

Are you still working on that book?

So there aren’t other examples? I thought we typically avoid trying to cancel someone for saying one thing and apologizing for it, albeit not the best apology. Racists don’t just say one racist thing, its a trend. I’m with coldfury here, if there are other examples Ill shut up about this.

You think harassment and discrimination are making Activision money? There is plenty of evidence to suggest that more inclusive workplace cultures make more profit, this has been understood for a while now. Regardless, this kind of culture is unfortunately the norm so consumers don't have much choice in many areas of

Its the white cisgender male capitalist patriarchy more than that men are inherently awful. I know this is a chicken or the egg thing but it’s our system that enables people to be this sexist.

I like that their response was basically “no, u” and saying they’ve changed a lot recently basically admitting that some of this used to be true.

Calling Rachel Nichols mediocre seems salty and a low blow. I’m not defending her or saying she wasn’t racist, talent has nothing to do with that.

I mean only celebrities famous outside of twitch can afford to do this. Even then, they aren’t going to attract huge views without building a reputation for being a good streamer. Every big streamer has some level of chat interaction although the chance that your comment in particular will get noticed are virtually

Even during loading/login sequences?

Not unless you are subscribed to ultimate tier I believe

The criticism in this article about gacha games monopolizing the market is spot on though. Its virtually impossible to find a quality mobile game that isn't wrapped in these free to play mechanics.

I did see one person insult you basically saying you are a dumb Nintendo fan, this was completely uncalled for in an otherwise pretty civil discussion. I’m truly sorry you had to experience that.
