This is nothing new. Conservatives will do anything, and I mean ANYTHING to keep their guns, even as the bodies of dead children pile up. Nothing implies guilt and cowardice better than hiding behind a 300+ year old piece of paper to justify Uvalde, etc.

Nothing implies guilt better than trying to derail an investigation. Trumpers need to admit that they backed/continue to back a traitor that wanted to declare martial law and re-run the election. 

Plus, it’s taking money and fuel away from the people running the gas station. They already have thin margins and tend to make their money from convenience items.

There’s an episode of It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia where the gang tries selling gasoline door-to-door. Basically, they pumped it all into barrels. I also saw an episode of Trailer Park Boys where they sold stolen gas, except that it was siphoned by Corey and Trevor.
