I think his reasoning for toning it down is fair. It’s nice, if a bit unusual, for a streamer to realize that his actions and mannerisms can effect how a lot of kids act, and adjust his stream to be more of a positive influence.

I mean, not really. With perspective it just makes him seem shittier. His “character” is “being a total cunt to others”, but apparently if anyone is a cunt to him, that’s 100% unacceptable. And given he basically never breaks character, it’s fair to say he probably is a total cunt IRL.
