You could copy and paste the Charley Bliss review onto the last Dude York with minimal changes and it would still apply. Don't sleep on the Dude York.

Back door OT recasting. New adventures of Han, Luke & Leia in 2021?

All American Girl is a great song but the rest of the album is no where near as good. I'd advise against a blind buy on the strength of that single.

Unless artists start pairing off with music services as exclusives, kind of like Sony/Uncharted & MS/Halo.
Wanna listen to all of your favorite artists? Then pony up and subscribe to all three: Spotify, Tidal & Apple Music!

And I think any real musician would care more about being heard than anything.

The problem is no one knows you from anyone else. Spotify is a great way to try out new music. I've been burned too many times by a blind-buy and I'm not doing it again. And I love how you equate "real music fans" with people who don't stream. I'm sure I'm in the minority, but if I stream an LP and find myself

You have a 00's rock and roll list and left off My Morning Jacket. Clearly you guys have no fucking idea what rock and roll is. Most of these other bands just approximate rock and roll. The Jacket is rock and roll through and through.

Qualify "this" punk!

I watched "Maximum Overdrive" tonight…on purpose.

Shit, for a while there it was 30 Rock>Community>Parks>Office>Always Sunny>Archer. 3 hours of pretty good to great TV. I will admit I skipped the Office more than a few times. Still, overall that schedule is better than reality tv show>reality tv show>shit sandwich that makes up Thursday nights now.

Oh, there's no doubt that this reviewer is better than me.  He writes for AV Club and gets paid for it.  I'm just a sucker typing on a message board.  I understand I'm not the best.

Seriously?  Season 4 the weakest?  Man, for my money the last season and the one before were by far the weakest.  But you know: different strokes for different folks.  Just that someone thinks this episode was a classic is beyond me.

Yeah, this was not a 'classic' episode and it sure as hell wasn't a "A".  I'm baffled by the great reviews this show has gotten over the past two seasons, especially when you reference the grades levied at the REAL classic episodes back season 3 and 4.  This show hasn't been consistently funny since mid-season 5.

Yeah, screw this.  Futurebirds do a much better version. Via Flamina EP.  Check it.

ugh pearl.  And you're talking shit about Jackson. Pearl is an open herpes sore of a town.  Jesus Christ why are you admitting you live there to ANYONE?

@True Pud:  You don't know shit about shit brother.  Smuggler's Blues is like the best pair of titties you've ever seen…the musical version of that.

I wouldn't say their new sound is more mature or clean. It's more homogenized if anything. Their earlier lps featured more dense arrangements - distorted steel guitars anyone?- that created an overall lush, original sound. The newer material is front loaded with chugging, rhythm guitars that give their songs a more
