Don't. I don't think my heart could take it. Anton was lovely.

I felt guilty and deleted it.

Dude, I exhausted myself debating this six months ago so I can't do this anymore. But even you have to admit that Rey is the SINGLE most overpowered character in the modern blockbusters in quite some time. Dominic Toretto looks human and grounded next to her ( and I HATE fast and furious)
Not really. But I'm just mad that he gets to direct movies.
Go have fun in your weekly family 'Age of Ultron/Furious 7' double bills.
At least Michael Bay movies are fun to watch
He's shown living with his adopted family in tattoine and just barely scraping by life, all of that is very relatable. But he's also got higher ambitions and that moment where he steps out and looks at the twin suns and that dramatic john williams score that plays that sells it COMPLETELY.
Just keep Zack Snyder away. That's all that matters.
Yes he was.
I see.
Yeah. The internet jumped on Max Landis' back for that one and while it was fun to watch that annoying prick suffer, he was right on that occasion.
Yes. Most of whom still credit Lucas' input as a significant part of making it so great.
There's always going to be franchising and merchandising. But there was always a level of authorial control over the main voice that was able to give us truly grand, epic works of cinema like 'EMPIRE'. That's not going to happen anymore.
Btw I've spoken to two people who really liked 'Beyond' so I'm still hopeful. I thought 'Into darkness' was terrible.
It's got a LOT more effective character development than TFA. The relationship b/w Spock and Kirk is well done. And the way Spock is handled after his planet is destroyed in amazing.
We got 'Thor 2', 'Batman v Superman' and 'Age of Ultron' in the 21st century.
I adore TREK 09. I still think it's JJ's best work. I can't blame him too much for TFA because it's so well made and competently put together. He just did what Disney paid him to do.
I was one of those people ROOTING for 'The force awakens'. Got suckered in the hype of all the 'new era' and 'practical effects'. Then I saw the movie and felt like I had been handed a catalog of an investment portfolio rather than a film.
Yeah but now it's in a crass 21st century sort of way. Look forward to Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson starring in his own spinoff anytime soon.
