I mean I'm a supporter of BOTH and I'm sure Method must have its' advantages but it's always kind of blown up in the press as some grand artistic gesture that I don't think is all that.

"Method" is to acting what "practical effects" is to film making. An overhyped concept that has somehow gained incredible self-importance in the film community.

I heard Adam Sandler went 'method' for Grown Ups 2.
