I fear that this is going to make $50 million on opening weekend and be a worldwide hit and then 'Entourage' will be a *shudder* film franchise.

Katie Rife has just made O'Neal proud. Wonderful work!!

It's not exactly like it but the extreme focus on resource management and sometimes just evading enemies and finding other ways to kill them via traps etc. brings back that old familiar feeling of desperation. It's like a cross between the old games and RE4.

yes.

Vanquish was just WOW. It pushes third person shooter gameplay to it's absolute limit and makes 'Gears of War' etc. look perfunctory by comparison. It didn't sell but I'm hoping someone takes a chance and it gets a sequel someday. I can only imagine a next gen vanquish with multiplayer and me shooting dudes while

As a big fan of hack and slash games, I can attest that Bayonetta is a great place to start. It's extremely accessible, fun , and the controls are excellent. (Or for part 1 anyway. Don't have WIIU so haven't played 2).

Your judgement wasn't clouded by the split. It really is an amazing (and sadly underrated) game. Between that and 'South Park:stick of truth', I'm a believer in Obsidian studios again.

Yeah. I'm sold on it. I've heard plenty of complaints about the checkpointing in that game but that is NO issue with me. I'm still counting the days till they release the remaster of Resident Evil REmake on to next gen. That would be great.

I still prefer it over 2. I really enjoyed the stellar visuals and the thrilling movement (Neon FTW) and the writing IMO was very good. Not a killer-app or a system seller but still deserved more attention than it got.

Wind Waker hd ALMOST convinced me to buy it a while back. Almost. I'm still waiting for Zelda to hit so that I can buy iy finally and also scoop both 'Smash' and '3D land' at once. Not to mention 'Xenoblade X ' is coming too.

Totally understandable. It's certainly not for people who don't enjoy old-school survival horror(which is understandable). If you didn't grow up with the old resident evil-type games, then you won't enjoy it.

By 'Survival' I meant strategic gameplay, not outright scares. I'll check out 'Isolation' soon even though IMO first person horror very rarely works.

I enjoyed 'Infamous:second son' a lot too. Extremely underrated game that people feel like nitpicking to death instead of highlighting it's admirable qualities.

IMO 'New Vegas' is a lot better. Sure it had bugs but the writing and quests were a lot better.

Sure, it lacked the meticulous lore and the amazing sense of foreboding of the original but it was still very enjoyable and kept you engaged throughout. Consider it an appetizer until the REAL Dark Souls 2, i. e 'Bloodborne'.

I'm still pissed that I don't get to play Bayonetta 2. I'll probably buy a WIIU later down the line to play Zelda but right now It just dosen't seem worth it to me. My WII collected dust and I'm not getting suckered again…

Still, never stopped being fun. It brought back something that I had been missing for a long time.

The Evil Within should be here. It brought the 'survival' back into 'survival horror'.

OHHYEAHH.

Also, the last movie that Mark Wahlberg starred in as a person involved in academics turned out to be one of the worst movies of the 00's.
