Jackson has already gone over to the dark side. He let WB split 'The Hobbit' into 3 parts ,which is an atrocity and a betryal of the goodwill of LOTR fans.

They were not at all. They were emotional and dramatically effective. People confuse that with miserablism ,which is just not true at all. Plus all 3 had a big undercurrent of dry/sarcastic humour.
Actually sounds kind of awesome. Nolan should put himself in one of his films like Hitchcock or QT do.
Me too. I liked it a lot. I have a feeling people will come around to it as time passes by.
He's becoming increasingly less Press-shy as time passes by. I'm intrigued. He used to be that gentlemanly, modest, young man who directed 'Memento'. Now he's the ice cold megalomaniac who has WB on his fingertips. Can't wait for his next phase.
To be fair, Deadly Premonition is better than ANY movie that has played in the last 5 years.
Say whatever you want but at least 'Interstellar' got fat, unemployed Marvel nerds/Nolan haters to read up on Relativity and Black holes so that they could poke holes in the movie. See? Chris Nolan is actually making the world a better place.
Which is why it made almost a billion dollars, got rave reviews and was nominated for best picture.
Maybe it has to do with the fact that 'Watchmen' isn't a funny book to begin with.
I'm praying there isn't. But as TOY STORY 4 proves, nothing in Hollywood is sacred.
At least it looks like 'cinema' as opposed to the 'Televengers'.
Nobody informed me that it was 'Let's Troll Chris Nolan' week here at the AV Club. 3 articles in 2 days and all of them condescending snark. Great Job.
Spoken like a true movie lover. Bravo. A movie dosen't need to always strive for 'perfection'. All it should do is excite, entertain and inspire and so few of them do that these days.
I think 'Signs' is pretty decent. Dosen't make any sense but the craft is STUNNING.
It's because Hill and Rogen are the only two 'fat' actors that are mainstream B.O draws. (Hell, Rogen isn't even that fat anymore)
Funny that you should ask. He actually wasn't invited back. He locked himself in the editing room with a friend to edit the movie according to his own liking and fought with the producer and director over their cut. He revealed that himself in his reddit AMA. I'm beginning to think that he also assholed his way out of…
This actually can be a lot of fun if Michael Bay shows up in his 'Pain and Gain' mode. Now that he's done with Transformers, it seems like the right time for him to go back into his R-rated sensibilities (The golden period in which he gave us the double dose of Bad Boys 1 and The Rock). Also, Bruckheimer seems to be…
What about the montage to Devo's 'Going Under' in the second episode of season 1 where Crockett and Tubbs are getting ready to meet the drug kingpin in the restaurant. Where it shows them gearing up and then whizzing away in that awesome black Ferrari!
Ironically, I got into 'Vice' back in 2002 after playing GTA vice…
Joker just kills the guy flat out and nobody in the room even seems bothered or concerned that there might be a dead body lying on the floor and they hold their 'meeting' instead. It's like the room is filled with so many major psychopathic assholes, that one body is NOTHING.
The problem is that they didn't want to make a GL movie in the first place. They looked at 'Iron Man' and thought :light hearted superhero movie with a snarky lead, WE can do that!' and made 'Van Wilder with a magic ring' instead.
