Somebody with vision could have turned it into a great movie. I just love the concept of the GL corps and how weird and diverse they really are. JJ Abrams in his Trek'09 form could have KILLED it.

Hey at least it killed off that smug douchebag Ryan Reynolds' career so it was good for something.

BWAAAAAAAMP.

I think Grosse Pointe Blank is a masterpiece. With one of the best soundtracks ever.

Same here I went from being a member of the church of Frank Miller to being an atheist. He just seems like an obnoxious, bitter ,heartless person now.

Thankfully these days they've stopped ripping off QT . Now they're trying to rip off 'The Dark Knight' instead.

Ever seen 'Lucky Number Slevin'?? I hate that too.

Not to mention over the top preposterous names like 'Pistol' Pete Deeks, 'The man with the plan', 'Machine gun Eddie' and 'Bullet tooth Tony'.
Although I do like Snatch and Lock Stock though.

Not a fan of Visitor Q also.

He's definitely a very versatile filmmaker. Did you see his adaptation of the 'Ace Attorney' video game series? It's pretty good (and batshit). As a fan of the games, I was quite pleased .

Yup. the fact that it's inspiring this wonderful, passionate conversation here right now even after 20 years after it's release is all that needs to be said.

Love your Avatar/ I'm a 'Hotline Miami' fan too.

That 'Pot Belly' stuff with Bruce Willis and his girlfriend could go,though. Just sayin'

For a Paycheck. You just answered your own question.

He should say it in one of his Marvel movies, where he always seems to be sleepwalking through.

It does contain some of QT's best moments.

Tarantino+ Waltz is the best actor-director partnership of the 2000's. I'm so glad they found each other.

LOL. 'Ichi the killer' is such a relentless assault on good taste and basic human decency that I just can't love but do admire it. Also, I discovered 'Audition' through QT so I'll always be grateful.

Question: What's your least favourite QT ripoff? Mine's 'Smokin 'Aces'. Can't stand that movie.

Count me in our group too. I'm always torn between Pulp and Jackie Brown. Both are amazing but so different. Though after that, it's just a decade of style without substance (but still great).
