In fact, it plays even better than it did 20 years ago. There are many better films than Pulp but there's still none that are quite LIKE it and probably never will be.

He kind of came close with 'Pain and Gain'. Or at least achieved some semblance of closeness. All the grisly shit in the second half is clearly inspired by the 'wood chipper' scene from Fargo.

Wow. Bay's Coen brother obsession continues.

Yup. Dowd strikes again.

It was an elseworlds tale but it captured the primal appeal of the character in a way that nobody else had at the time or since. It knew what made him tick. So many great moments in that book.

Yeah. Frank Miller himself said: 'There are 50 different ways to do Batman and they all work'.

You can prefer Burton's movies to Nolan's for sure but calling Burton a better director than him just means you don't know what you're talking about.

*Suddenly brakes fail and speeding car crashes into wall*

SO many movies try to ape Bay's style. Con Air is the only one that got it right.

Inception was a big-budget, risky studio movie and it's clear that there were some studio restrictions on it. It was made for a LOT of money and studio wanted it's money back . So for what it was, it was quite imaginative. If you were expecting something like 'Brazil' then of course you're going to be disappointed.

Yup. Never gets old. The scene in which the Batmobile jumps up and eats the rocket is just so badass.

The same reason people love to hate on Spielberg: He's TOO popular.

Rises is of course. TDK on the other hand is more full of pseudo-philosophical nihilism. I love that movie and have seen it countless of times but find it hard to watch nowadays. It's just too grim for me. I prefer the more visually clean and operatic 'Rises' instead. That movie had the perfect blend of fun and

Which is great because Man of Steel really peaked with it's trailer.

Yeah. There aren't really a lot of similarities between Wayne Knight and McConnaughey.
