Whenever I say it-and believe me, I say it constantly-my wife just looks at me like I'm crazy.

Heh, that always makes me think of that old Cartoon Network commercial.
The whole "Interstellar travel means a peaceful and wise Utopian civilization" trope kind of forgets one thing, when humans began to travel across the oceans and cultures made first contact, humanity didn't change, we were still major assholes to each other...
Go-bots were my gateway drug into the delinquent world of robots-that-are-also-other-things. I remember the argument I had with my brother , where I was defending Go-bots as being superior by virtue of coming in two sizes. His older sibling rejoinder was that Transformers came in three sizes. What rhetorical flourish…
The only thing the Transformer had going for it was that it could combine into a bigger robot...
Go Bots also had more diverse alt modes, like a limo.
Go-Bots get a lot of shit, but the small Go-Bots were a LOT better than the similar sized transformers in my opinion. For example, both the root and plane mode looked way better for their Harrier. This:
Well, the farther back you go, the more your ripples can expand. But I think historically, stopping 9/11 would probably mean far more good than bad. The trauma of that event has made us more fearful, more willing to bow to authority and give up rights, more polarized as a nation, and it allowed certain racisms to be…
Are you sure that this hasn't already happened?
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU FOR DOING THIS!
At the very least we got a nice final episode that felt like a good wrap up.
They really hit the nail on the head with the series. Story, flow, artwork everything just worked for EMH.
Remember great athletes and soldiers have short memories for errors they feel that they have corrected. Example Ray Lewis - murders a man get another man to take the fall and is now one of the most self righteous commentators in the NFL. Any active sniper in the special forces will tell you that they remember all…
I agree, I'm still a bit upset about EMH and Spectacular Spiderman.
We remember the fallen. Earth's Mightiest Heroes, Young Justice, Green Lantern. Rest in peace. Never Forget. So Say We All.
MUTHAFUCKIN' BOXING GLOVE ARROW!!!
Worth it's weight in gold for it's Luke cage episode alone...
As far as cartoon adaptations of comics, Earth's Mightiest Heroes was up there with Batman: TAS for me. It really is too bad it didn't last longer.
Young Justice, the pilot episode. That first episode had me hook, line, and sinker within moments.
