You >really< need to re-read Dark Night Returns. That's not how it ends at all. Batman won because he had Superman dead to rights. By the time Batman has his hand on Superman's throat, it's already over. Anyone else could have killed him if they chose to. All he was doing was sending a message, That message was: "I…
And this guy.
Pretty sure Adam West bat-won that one.
God I love this book. Probably my favorite issue of anything, ever.
Hilarious. JUST loaned Planetary/Batman to a friend. But it's more a draw.
Point made
If you watch that movie and don't have a goofy grin on your face by that point in the movie, you are officially dead inside.

Monsters: Awesome.
It works on so many levels.
NO YOU DI'NT!
I should have never clicked on the link to that site. I am now buried in an avalanche of nostalgia.
MagicMan81, this is Humour. Humour, this is MagicMan81. I'm sure you two can work things out.
Planetary/The Batman: Night on Earth. By far one of the best Batmen that isn't BtAS.
The Batman-Jakita fight is a thrill to behold.
The JSA Liberty Files, not sure how many times I've read it but it's probably my favorite TPB next to the Planetary books. Loved the take on the characters and the over-all look of the book. Didn't care too much for JSA: LF The Whistling Skull though, but I've only read 1 issue of that and wasn't too thrilled with it.…
Great tale of if Supes and Bats were to actually age after their first apperence in 1938. To see the trials and tribulations as they deal with growing older, having kids and relationships through the 40's to the nineties with a fast paced changing world was a delight.
