He shouldn’t be hounded to leave. He comments a lot, but on women’s issues. He doesn’t sidetrack the conversation into men’s issues. So the fact that he’s a man shouldn’t be a problem if he’s contributing to a discussion about women on a site devoted to that.

From what I gather a lot of commenters have been asking Moral Dictata to sit back and listen instead of feeling compelled to comment first/jump in right away and steer the conversation towards a male POV rather than allowing other female commenters to lead the way.

The last few days there has been a campaign against Mortal Dictata in an effort to purge him from this site. Why, I honestly don’t have a clue, but I have seen similar efforts in the past be effective (and I am sure people dog piling on MD is going to result in incredibly hurt feelings on his part).

There’s been a bunch of fighting (and, in addition to fighting, trolls) for a while now. This is what happens when they don’t ungray good commenters. A lot of the old guard have left, and there’s no new blood.

And, despite what some members of a certain party may say, your statement applies to people on both sides of the aisle. And maybe even more so to the party of family values, as red states appear to view pornography more than their hedonistic blue state arch nemeses.
