I have a niece and nephew who play youth soccer the same way, except if they are on adjacent fields they will walk over to the shared sideline and have a conversation during the game. And if one of them somehow scores a goal, they will excitedly run into the other game, stop play and tell their cousin immediately.…

Honestly though, good for him. It’s gotta be brutal to squander that much money and deal with addiction. It seems like he has goals and a purpose, plus he’s cleaned himself up. No snark for this one.

So you think the NFL should suspended any player who does not turn over his phone to the NFL because they ask for it. Would you turn over your phone to your employer (personal phone) if they asked for it because they thought you did something wrong?
