Not only is it a great interview, but the comments on the Kotaku article covering it are a fascinating window into a certain subset of American gamer and their weird insecurities about Japanese culture not being exactly the same as America’s.

The sickest burn in “Hit ‘Em Up” isn’t even directed eastward: it’s when Tupac expresses his contempt for Biggie by stating that he’s going let the shitty hangers-on surrounding him in the studio drop some bars and then the rest of the song is those losers confidently rapping shitty verses, seemingly unaware that the

Bored by NieR: Automata?! Madness!

It really does feel like we’re in a great period of human history if you look at video games alone and ignore everything else that’s happening! What a year of releases, and with at least one sure-to-be masterpiece yet to drop!

On my... third?... playthrough of Bloodborne I successfully completed the “befriend Dhura” quest. And then promptly ruined it because I didn’t realize he could “see” you kill the beasts inside the church he’s standing on top of! And then, once again, I had no choice but to shove him off the roof.

I’m having serious deja vu here, now that I’m playing Splatoon while reading about people playing Destiny and thinking “man, Destiny players always sound like they’re describing a chore even when they clearly love the game!” To each their own, although I’m firmly remaining in the “do not get it” column: it sounds like

Unloaded a beautiful combo on my bus ride this morning:

Ah, WiiU GamePad... too beautiful for this world.

It’s so odd, because they had an excellent thing for you to do while waiting! Why not just leave it in?!

Team Flight Unite! I’m hoping the Splatfest will get me over the level 10 hump so I can play the part of the game that’s fun!

Ooh, that Windjammers game looks like a Kero Kero Keroppi Super Famicom game that my buddy and I used to play on an emulator during sleepovers! Except that it’s horizontal rather than vertical.

Wait, KINJA SUCKS?! Aw man, I was really looking forward to finding out for myself. No hard feelings, though: if only this site had spoiler tags...

I certainly am in the category of people who would like to tweak a combat deck in order to customise the experience of a Platinum-esque martial arts fighter. So Absolver is tempting, and particularly so at a $39.99 price point, but... the timing is terrible (just you wait a second) and the fact that milady cancelled

I find this is a recurring issue with episodic reviews of serialized shows: early episodes in a season are often criticized for, essentially, not being the climax of the plot. But every part of a story can’t be the climax!

If it’s any comfort, anyone who’s using the Kinjamprove plugin is seeing pending comments integrated alongside the rest, with no greying!

DK Mountain and Mount Wario for me. I guess I just really like to drive down hill!

How are you finding Tumbleseed? I know the developers were planning to improve it a lot with updates after the initial poor reception...

Seriously, if No Man’s Sky can become a game people apparently enjoy over a full year later, it really grinds my gears to see milady’s disappointment that there’s nothing more coming for ME:A.

And here we are...

This is a funny story, although I’m really just posting to confirm that my account claim actually worked after some bizarre technical difficulties!
