Now that I think about it (or possibly now that somebody else pointed it out yesterday!), my beloved Skyward Sword brought weapon degradation and crafting-style upgrades to the Zelda template!

I definitely missed areas and NPCs in my Dark Souls 3 playthrough: didn't find Smouldering Lake OR Archdragon Peak, and I didn't get far in any questlines, although I met most of the NPCs. I did manage to find Untended Graves and get the "Let the fire die" ending, which was cool! After playing the first game with a

I definitely felt like the richest man in town this week.

I quite enjoyed Ashes of Ariandel, although it certainly doesn't achieve the heights of Artorias, The Old Hunters, or Crown of the Frozen King.

It kind of infuriates me how little credit the WiiU gets for that one incredible feature!

I love Fi. I know I'm alone in that. But I just love her.

It seems likely that you've fully mastered the game in the six days since this post and require no further advice, but just in case, here's LittleMac crawling through a dead thread to search for friend codes!

If you ever get a chance to try to get through a game in the Souls series without guidance, I highly recommend it (perhaps with The Ringed City if you've already done the rest!). I found it a very rewarding experience after I'd gone through Dark Souls for the first time with a few guide checks.

Ah! That's very useful information!

It was such a lucky find that, as I told people about it, they all became invested in helping me trick it out! Milady went out of her way on the way home from a busy day at work to track down neon JoyCons for us. A friend of mine was trying to find his own Switch and failed, but saw a single copy of Bomberman left on

Oh lord, the in-the-field NPCs are fucking wretched. "Help! I've hurt my leg! Help! I've hurt my leg! Help! I've hurt my leg! Help! I've hurt my leg! Help! I've hurt my leg!" There's like a two second pause before they repeat their one dialogue line. It does not make you think "boy, I'd better help this person!" so

Seems pretty likely that there won't be any Switch-related offers there yet, and I own almost everything I could want on WiiU…

I know! And if he doesn't mind paying for Breath of the Wild twice anyway, why not just go buy a Switch version and then sell your pre-ordered one when it arrives?

Spirit of Justice is great! I'm a big fan of the series, and it's one of my favourites to date. Every episode is strong and unique, so you'll be consistently happy whenever you get back to the game!

Yoko Taro has laryngitis and a bad back, so he won't be saying anything or doing anything.

Breath of the Wild is a revelation, eh? Just a ton of fun, combined with a ton of awe. It's a good thing they put that screencapture feature in, because milady would've been pissed if I'd woken her up last night just so she could see the sunset over Hateno Beach!

Request sent! I think I'll appear as "Jamie"?

This is awesome!

Milady's playing this game! The voice acting doesn't quite strike me as "awful," but it's definitely mediocre for a game of this budget.

Didn't pre-order a Switch. Too old to hit a midnight launch. A buddy sent me a picture of the midnight launch line and it was so crazy I gave up in advance on the morning launch (foolishly. I would have made it!).
