I'll most likely be finishing Spirit Tracks, and thus all of the main series Legend of Zelda games, this weekend!
Liberals and other lefties have been condemning this wankstain for a long time, because of the many vile attitudes and ideas he promotes, in addition to his direct encouragement of racist, misogynistic, and transphobic harassment campaigns against individuals. No one on the left needed to do any interpreting of these…
Lost interest in A Link to the Past?! GASP!
Yeah, I remember being wildly underwhelmed with the concept when I was collecting the first few stars. By the end, you're accessing parts of the galaxies that you never would have thought were possible to reach!
For the first… hour or so of the battle, I hadn't triggered a single duo art! But then in the home stretch, when I was out of clap tracks and backed against the wall, I had three sessions in a row trigger duo arts, which both allowed me to close the damage gap and stay alive thanks to the healing bonuses!
Yeah, my opinion of it has remained pretty consistent throughout the years, both when it's been in critical favour and when it hasn't. That is not true of every game that I have a load of nostalgia for.
The Luigi playthrough is very much just the same game with Luigi physics, but I think you do get a little scene at the end when you max both out.
It's entirely natural to be excited for 1-2 Switch! I know me and my friends have some great parties in our near future.
When I was… 6, maybe 7, I went to the neighbours' across the street to play Nintendo with one of their kids. I saw a shiny gold cartridge and assumed it was LoZ. I looked at it and gasped! There's a Zelda II?!? I looked at the TV, where his mom was playing, and sure enough: there was Link… but he was taller, and he…
The weird part for me is that Spectre Knight's sprite is wayyy bigger than Shovel Knight or Plague Knight. I'll be interested to see what they do with that.
One blessing is that, difficulty and obscurity aside, it's quite a short game. Granted, I knew what to do for every puzzle and challenge leading up to the second-last boss, but it only took me about 10 hours to beat the whole thing!
Not having much Atlus experience, I can't say for sure, but it was definitely super hard!
It was as exhilarating as a turn-based battle that lasts 100 minutes can possibly be. I don't think I was ever more than one bad decision away from being party-wiped, so it was legitimately pulse-pounding!
Weird gamer hostility to Nintendo knows of no evidentiary burden for any claim.
I'm not adding anything to what other people are saying, but man, once you get passed the high-level opacity of the systems and figure out what's going on in the gameplay, W101 is a great joy to play!
My buddy beat XCX and then proceeded to put 130 hours of postgame playing in!
Last session, we had the weirdest night of the campaign yet:
If I didn't need all my spare cash from the last couple months to get a fully decked out Switch, I'd be buying the rulebooks for this!
I'll be polishing off Spirit Tracks with the time remaining in the month, and I will have achieved my goal of beating every main series Zelda title before the release of Breath of the Wild!
