There are 2 sides to that however: Security and convenience, you can have a super secure system thats extremely inconvenient for the end user or add some convience while degrading the security of certain parts of your system.

There is an option on ios at least to stream at higher quality over cellular in spotify. Google Play has a crappy interface and crashes on me occasionally but at least I havn’t found songs becoming greyed out and unplayable.

one nice thing about a short battery life is you’ll be less likely to misplace your charging cable. With my Pebble I sometimes have a hard time remembering where I plugged the cable in a week ago...
