Honestly I think that whether or not it is on the disc is irrelevant. If I found out in a year that mass effect 4 was already on the mass effect 3 disc, and that i had to pay to unlock it, yeah, that would surprise me. But in the end what difference would it make? I paid for two games. I got two good games.

I have to say, I thought this a brilliantly written review. It's been a while since I've read such an eloquent review that gave such a complete and balanced view of the game.

At some point, wouldn't you get so powerful you wouldn't NEED huge looking armor?

If I know I'm already going to want to see a movie, the worst thing I can see is a trailer with a shortened version of the movie - in sequential order - that shows all the best parts.

I hope they follow through on diminishing the HUD and on screen helps all the time. And for the love please no cutscene every time I first pick up a blue rupee, a red rupee, a yellow rupee...

While I am interested to play Nintendo games in HD, I certainly don't care to keep my system "always on". During the last 4 years, I only turned on my Wii for Mario games and a Zelda. That'd be a lot of wasted electricity.

The Star Wars part was the worst part of the Kinect showing.

This was a good year for Microsoft. Kinect doesn't interest me by itself, but Kinect HYBRID games sound sweet. I thought Mass Effect will be awesome with it. And I can't wait to use it with Forza 4.

Because it looks like they wanted to improve upon the DS3. ;)

Realistically, I doubt they would cancel. But you don't think that goes through their minds when their already small PC audience turns and burns them again? Their previous game was one of the most pirated PC games in history, and their 2nd one is looking to go that same way. Even if they don't cancel, it would seem…

Guys, I still hate the new Kotaku website. I just want that to be heard frequently, because I'm reminded of it whenever I think of visiting Kotaku. Which has started to become less and less lately. :(

I agree, I hate the rape comparison, but as to stealing - it's not 'thieving' the game, but it is stealing MONEY from the developers. I know, I myself have made the excuse that I wouldn't have bought it anyway.

If I were them I'd just cancel the PC version altogether.

kotaku, penny arcade hits the nail on the head. Just change it back. It didn't get any better over time, either. The new site is still unbearable.

Overall - I'm constantly frustrated with how difficult it is to "view" the site. Scrolling is a big problem. The biggest thing is - I can't take in ALL the latest news at a nice easy glance.

It's sad, because I love my X360. But more often than not I'm hearing total asshats on there. I remember during the early COD4 days, everybody was mostly cool. But that crowd sure changed.
