They've already said How I Met Your Dad will have nothing to do with The Mother's story.

I love the contrast of Ted spending the last 8 years actively looking for his soul mate while The Mother chooses to sit on the sidelines.

The CW also had more than 5 years of experience with Smallville to know what they're in for and what they're capable of doing on television. This is ABC/Disney's first attempt at navigating the translation of a comic book/movie property (or something resembling it) to TV and they're finding out it's not easy as

I love all of Loeb's Batman work and his run on the Batman/Superman series is my favorite comic work ever. He also wrote some of the best early episodes of Smallville and Heroes.

The party from "Ted." If only for Flash Gordon.

The celebration at the end of Return of the Jedi, but start out on Endor and go on a spice fueled night through all of the planets shown in the montage, ending on Coruscant at dawn helping topple the statue of Palpatine.

It would take longer than that. Vader was the only person to survive and it took him awhile to get back to Imperial space.

Who cares about Coach Taylor? He'll always be Gary Hobson to me.

My only real problem with the episode was that it felt like it was building to the last slap, instead of the penultimate one.

I've predicted for awhile that the last slap will be the final thing we see before HIMYM cuts to black for the last time. Maybe as a tag at the end of the credits that flash forwards sometime in the future.

Since I got season 1 for Christmas I've rewatched the first three episodes, and they're better than I remember, especially knowing what happens in season 3. The biggest criticism I have of them was that the second episode's plot was too complex for the second episode in a series.

No, I feel bad for Neil Patrick Harris when I see him in trailers for The Smurf movies and Beastly.

As soon as I finished watching I jumped on Netflix to see the end of "Trilogy Time." I was second guessing when the scene with the baby took place as well.

Well, if they got engaged and married really quickly within the first three months of the year…then it could work.
