I would say that there is a huge difference between adding an object that is not physically in a photograph to a photo (like what was done in the Beirut photographs) and using a filter. I just don't think there is a legitimate comparison. It is just another form of presentation, like framing, cropping, depth of field,

I would say that images are already editorialized. Photographers choose the framing, they choose when to take a picture, and what of, and they can do all sorts of things to make the image seem calm, or chaotic. There is no way to take a picture without it being somewhat biased.

But by reposting it, they imply that they agree.

It's is one thing to want to wipe out the Jews, it's another to actually try. I really hope that you're joking. And, while this may be obsolete, I feel that it is necessary to add #trollpatrol.

Numbers 1, 2, 5 are all emotions that happen in real life, just over different mediums. When people take a while to reply on the phone, random people saying hello to you in public places, and I've definitely lost my train of thought when editing papers to make them shorter. These emotions are hardly new.

@grimjack28: I don't think that this is being marketed to the military.

@rjp is Vincent Van GoToTheBox: I'm not saying that it is good, or smart, but that doesn't change the fact that the product fits the definition of military grade. I think that it would be reasonable for the military to set stricter standards on what can be called military grade, but, until then, this is technically

@Go Vols!: You can say that American football is better than soccer, and you could be correct, as it is a matter of taste. I was just pointing out that to argue that there is the same amount of or less action in soccer than in football would be incorrect.

@Zonky: The jogging in soccer is still better than the standing around doing nothing and the ads of football.

@Alowicious: Are you kidding me? Concrete still is ugly. I can see why a lot of these buildings look cool, but I like them because of their structure, not their concrete.

It's happening. Slowly, but it is happening.

@EBone: I feel like I remember hearing that it was a terrorism thing. I think they were worried about people using detonators disguised as electronic devices. But I may be completely wrong.

@Mark 2000: It proved that that specific plane couldn't go down if those specific phones were used. To say that that means that all phones are safe on all planes would be a gross over-extrapolation.

Or fix that whole thing where the US uses the imperial system, even though it is far less intuitive than SI.

There's a reason that reading the manifesto didn't help you understand his argument: it makes no sense.

He says that academics ignore the issue, and that is for good reason: the point is arbitrary. But anyway, I read his Tau Manifesto to see how he justified the area equation and he said that it should use tau so that the area would be equal to (1/2)(tau)(r^2), to be consistent with many physics equations. It seems

@Ham_Sandwich: I have no idea which I would choose. I guess one of the news wires.
