Neutral: Press and hold hazard switch, and hit N (key present). Power both via separate battery (like or in conjunction with telematics) and secondary wiring. Requires a driver to be in, and in control of the car to do. Pushing by yourself is never a good idea anyway.

2010 here, cheap looking, but long lasting interior. No headliner or other issues. Has been always driven by adults over its entire 400K miles though. Looks much better than any of my domestics at half the mileage.

SAAB 92 was transverse, introduced in 1948 (1949 model). Had a separate engine/transmission. Was side mounted. 

Easier to find regular beds second hand, and easier to lease if new. It’s a fringe use for most of them, but a hazard all the same. 

Actually, the ability to forklift load is actually huge. Most pickups used around my factory have to carry the load on the gate. Being able to close the gate during transport will be safer. Plus every so often, the lift drive dents them.
