probably too loud ;-).
probably too loud ;-).
For pure shits and grins, its a hard car to beat for the price (I know, I own one).
Anyone who had this as a youth is reminded of it periodically when they're sharing their old legos with their kids and one of the wheels shows up…I'm probably down to three at this point, but they still make great rollers for space vehicles ;-).
As an Indy resident, I can confirm Travis has it right. It may be a shadow of what once was, but adding 200,000 people to any ecosystem is just plain fun. Its a well put on event with even better people. No attitudes, no expectations - just fried food, lots of beer and loud cars.
There have most certainly been some…
This is pretty much the intro to 'Identity Thief'…
Fudge is fine (as is Aaron).
I have the the 17" summer shoes as well and they were MISERABLE in the winter (I'm in Indiana and we had a lot of snow and even worse temps (many nights in the negatives).
The 16" Pirellis made a huge difference in both traction and ride quality. As I mentioned, I wasn't a huge fan of the…
I have an Abarth which severely limits your options (large brakes, small wheels, big problems). I did a package from Tire Rack and they shipped to the door with TPMS installed, mounted, balanced, etc. Plan about $1.1K for everything including tax and shipping.
Tires: 195/45R-16 Pirelli Winter Snowcontrol Serie 3 210 XL…
Could be it. That's an amazing price - I was essentially $20,100 in November of 2013. It had the 17" and the climate thing, but no leather/roof/etc. Of course I had to get snow tires/wheels/TMPS about a month later when Indiana decided it was Antarctica.
I believe that when I see it - this article has been a wet dream for you...I bet you have 100+ posts up in here ;-).
Trust me - I'm no FIAT fanboy - I'm well aware of its shortcomings in both performance and build quality…I just like that its small enough I can park both motorcycles in front of it in the garage :-p
Now I know you're lying - my mom has a Subaru ;-).
Now if we could only get Congress to agree to disagree…
but can you drop 500 lbs?
I'm just messing with you, agree to disagree?
I agree, fortunately my other humans are only 8 and 10 so it works…until the boy grows up.
ADDED BONUS: the kids call the car the SCORPION.
FTW!
Don't get me wrong - I'd love to have the cargo capacity you have…and less plastic than I have :-/.
I think the tuning is a wash however - I can add 40hp for under $1K …which really adds up on a car that is 500+ lbs lighter than the GTI.
To each their own, this was never about how good or bad a car it is, it was about…
I drove them all (minus the ST as noted)…as a matter of fact I currently own an Abarth (because of their terrible value, I was able to purchase new for $20K).
I do apologize, I pulled the $7K from his quote of "a nice place to be under $30K"…Even at $26K as note in the article, its still closer to $4K less.
I'm not…
I've always admired these, but its just a really expensive car for what you get. I get that its the class leading interior, I get that it has a pretty good resale, I even get that its a solid B in pretty much every category (hence the headline)...
However, life is short and I think I'd rather have a few A+'s in some…
In an odd bit of synchronicity…my coworkers father passed away and they're liquidating his belongings…
If you want a Tempo, I think you want this one:

Thank you - that's kinda what I feared. I have an Abarth now and its essentially a greenhouse with a fart can on the back so headroom isn't an issue (unless you get the sunroof).
So you say the exterior dimensions are slightly longer and taller - does that translate to interior room? I'm a big guy (but no giant) at 6' 4" 240# and I just couldn't make the earlier Boxsters work. Any opinion on cabin space between the two (981 vs 987)?
Thanks!
Golden Corral has Prime Rib?
