@the9thdude: Zune isn't expensive for what it is, at all. I use Rhapsody, which is essentially the same sort of deal, and have no problems with it.

Complaining about airport security from a passenger standpoint is absurd — I've never run into an unhelpful, unfriendly, or inefficient security person, and lines by and large move quickly. In any case, you're traveling thousands of miles in a few hours, so get over it.

Microsoft might consider giving away Zunepass cheap or free to cellular subscribers for a year or so, as that is something most people would want that other providers don't offer. I'd also like seamless remote desktop integration (like, flick and I'm seeing my desktop computer, flick and my mobile word doc is now on

@buellrob: It also shows the high cost of progress fueled by Capitalism. Technological progress occurs extremely quickly due to the high number of innovators, but we essentially have millions of useless/failed products consuming valuable resources, or duplicated efforts leading to excess production.

I think Molyneux has the big picture right, but has the smaller scale priorities wrong. He essentially wants to create an adventure free of the artifice that shatters the fantasy of most video games — the stats, the non-physical interactions, and so on. But the ideas he's implemented don't seem to achieve much.

@Gameslaya: I agree, though I'd guess Blizzard will implement some sort of skill-based mode where equipment quality is capped or neutralized in some way.

I hope some Scotsmen hit some golf balls at it.

@Handsome Al: I completely agree. He could have bounded in when they announced "syncro mode!"

Yeah, I hate it when that happens — I was expecting you to provide me with a plugin that makes little musical notes float from the offending tab. Alas!

@ddhboy: I agree with everything you're saying.

I'm not a big Mac person, but the price on this is shockingly reasonable for an Apple branded ultra-portable.

@Cameron Barker: Yeah, Microsoft needs to get involved with the community. I mean, just one person with some ability to bump all the crap to the bottom of the line.

It's absurd that Indie Games community would turn on these guys in particular — they were merely being a visible, vocal example of the problems dragging down the entire service. 99% of games on Indie are opportunistic crap. Basically, the community can't actually remedy the problem, so they took out their frustrations

I found this game to be similar in many ways to Half-Minute Hero, and I'd like to see more games like it. The lack of targeting is the best thing about this game, and works because the game is designed around that absence of control. In other words, the game requires MORE thought and is more like a puzzle than it

@vinod1978: Mostly true (and this includes my friends). This is why I restrict myself to a phone that's only good for making calls.

I feel sorry for that texting girl, because her boyfriend is being a dick, end of story. You're also a dick if you whip out your smart phone during dinner out, with friends or a date.

@seedypete: I hung with it a bit longer, but yeah, the game lost me too. Felt tired.

It will be interesting to see of Apple takes this all the way with a multi-touch iMac. I wonder if they can do a screen that big at an affordable price point.
