My 1988 Subaru Justy FWD, with it’s not-quite 1L 53 HP 3-cylinder engine. It had a suprisingly good AC, but it had to be off to go uphill faster than 35 MPH.

About 6 years ago, I had a blue-on-blue ‘94 that wasn’t in quite as nice a condition as this one is, but was still pretty decent. I picked it up for $1400 when I needed a cheap daily commuter car for a while. All I ever had to do to it was replace the alternator, which was very easy to access.
