It might be good for PS3-only owners, but I still think 360 version of those game will sell more due to having a huge head start. Just look at Eternal Sonata for example, or a western developed game like Bioshock. Both games have extra content on PS3, but the PS3 version sold way less.

@CallaMojojojo: Video game tie in novel isn't exactly a new concept. Have you been living in a cave?

You already know Maric has a son in The Stolen Throne. The last major decisive battle of the first book was told in a after-the-fact and condensed fashion to his son, which is kinda anti-climatic imo.

The Chinese rips something off. What else is new?

@Scottaholic: What I didn't like was that the game does not promote strategic play in a normal way. To achieve a high rank, only speed matters, rather than stuff like killing enemies, not running into middle of gunfire, etc.

@fuchikoma: I thought all the complaints are about the cosmetic changes. Only functional stuff i heard about was Uncharted freezing issue. I haven't had any problem with my controllers.

I would say those who like MMOs are too busy playing their MMOs to come on Kotaku and vote. Might be a biased sample already.

@rick.rick: And I've never seen a paid email hosting service go without some downtime.

@tiredfairy: Sometimes I preemptively cross the street on a dark night when I'm walking behind a woman so she doesn't get nervous about me. It makes feel weird and a little sad that I feel I need to do that.

Turns out they have lots of mistakes; makes reading them a bit of a chore in the EPUB format. At least PDFs are available.

@LionheartAce: Agreed. Before trophies I had never played any game on hard mode or beat more than once. I usually just move on to the next game when I'm done with it (and sometimes before I'm done with it...).

@Jogfrog: Aside from the level system, there's actually a numeric score/points associate with each kinds of trophy. Bronze is 15, silver 30, gold 90, and plat 180.

I hope they'll one day come up with a news feed-esq kind of thing. News on what trophies you or your friends earned, what games you beat/played for the first time, or even play history, sorted reverse chronologically....

@ppppp: Flamebait....must resist!!!

From the looks of it now early 2010 seems to be more crowded than November 2009 already.
