@Archaotic: Both are new IPs. EA is much more willing to push a lot of marketing behind Dante's Inferno than Sega is on, err, pretty much any of their title.

I'm still deciding whether to get this game on PC or PS3.... On one hand this game is better played/controlled on PC; on the other hand PS3 version's got trophies, and I'll be able to play on huge screen+surround sound setup.(Before you suggest I can hook my PC to those setup as well, let me clarify that my PC is not…

@bobtheduck: So....anyone defending Langdell must be Langdell himself? You pretty much did the petty name calling short of actually doing it. All my comments regarding this subject are all in this thread, plus maybe two more in another. Oh forget it, I find having to prove that I'm not someone else stupid.

@kingmanic: I guess it's entirely possible that the whole page and the emails/facts are fabricated, but such as that it's possible for Mobigame to do the same. I also think it's quite unlikely for Langdell to by lying publicly when legal proceedings are likely to follow. That would just be nail on the coffin.

@NeoStarr HD: Really? We must be reading different articles then. Because it seemed to me Langdell wanted to reach a resolution without charging a dime from Mobigames, just asked them to change their game name. Yet Mobigames keep stalling, and eventually even demand money from EDGE.

@MurlocCake: Grocery stores also won't be sued for using the word "edge". Each trademark has its applicable areas. Just google a bit.

@SurprisedFace: Just read the source. EDGE first asked for 25% or revenue to date for licencing that name to Mobigames, but later retracted and say Mobigames don't have to pay anything once they change the game name.

@bobtheduck: First of all, by law, they are REQUIRED to defend their trademarks, or risk losing it.

@(Zombie) Komrade Kayce: I did read that particular thread. Most of the questions are answered in that source article. I too am quite puzzled as to why Langdell did not say anything publicly for quite a while, perhaps want to avoid a public bitch-slap show? I would've say something day one.

All the people that's still bashing Langdell, either you have reading comprehension problems or you just didn't read the souce article before commenting. A quick skim would tell you Langdell has been severely defamed with falso info or half-truths, thanks to Mobigame and in some part Kotaku/Eurogamer.

They should make a CE with that rock!
