@FabAndroid: Really? I got the impression that Prime 2 was all about color matching (light/dark) when I read about it. Played some of the japanese version of Prime 3 (long story) and didn't really feel like the turning was much better, though I didn't have anyone on hand to translate the menus so might have missed

Dear Criterion:

All it will take for me to like this better than Prime is no Simon-like color space pirate/beam matching. I HATED that so much!! Oh, and the incredibly slow turning.

It's not the whole backlash against used games that I find offensive (Gamestop really is kind of evil), but the idea that people shouldn't be allowed to resell what they paid for. I'm afraid that the era of game ownership may be coming to an end, and that saddens me. I sure wish I could sell some of my XBLA games

@Koztah: Can't help but wonder if anyone would care what they were getting if there had only been one or two X-Com games, followed by a gap of 22 years. That's more than half the length of all video game history!

So nobody's bothered that a Kid Icarus game is coming out that looks like it will play nothing like Kid Icarus?....

I think I'll miss Williams and Atari (which Midway absorbed years ago) a bit more, but RIP nonetheless

Epic wardrobe fail.

When I am president I shall enact a law that REQUIRES each retail business to house at least one working arcade or pinball game.

Bad news: I shouldn't visit my friend in Japan right now.

@FrankieViturello: I'm really hoping it's like The Grid....seeing as how the "Midway Classics" series stopped long before they got around to doing that one.

I need a z-shaped block, but NOT a backwards one. Oh, and it has to be red. Also, it has to be one of those versions of Tetris where I can rotate it forever when it gets to the bottom before placing it, even to the point that I can rotate it up a hill to the right and maybe back down again before placing it, or

Godkarmachine O Inary

I unfortunately have to play the real-life game of Purchasing a Used Car. Bleh. Hopefully in a few days I'll be playing Monday Night Combat, since none of the other "Summer of Arcade" demos have convinced me to purchase the full games. (And I'm hoping it's gonna be like The Grid)

Do any steering wheels for consoles have a full range of rotation? I just don't really see the point of all that realism just so your statue can nudge the wheel 3 inches in each direction.

@(Zombie) Jölan: That damn centipede is supposed to be fetching me my newspaper, it doesn't have time to play with Kinectimals!

@boopadoo: A farmer repeatedly kicking a little kid in the head?

I actually don't think motion control is gonna be that impressive until somebody makes something that pulls back on a controller somehow (360 degree magnetic field?) We need more tactile feedback, not less. Nobody goes to an arcade and wishes they were playing with a control pad.
