That's what I thought too, I've definitely had to try to get the calibration right on those games and in some case made it worse, if it was just a "hack" then it should just be automatic, right? (Not to mention that making the video lag match the audio lag should be pretty easy to accomplish)

I remember the last time I went to see MF DOOM the opening acts were terrible, and they went on for something like 3 1/2 hours. Then DOOM shows up 30 minutes before the venue closed and sped through a set of mostly partial songs. I wish I'd gotten thrown out and gotten my money back.
