And really, is there a better word than "ripshit"? It deserves to be used more often in everyday life.
I'm sitting here laughing just replaying that part in my head.
Mac kills it in this episode. The "bozos" stuff, the "is that piss?" freak out, assulting the bike rider with a thrown beer bottle, and I loved his delivery of "He burned us! Gypsy son-of-a-bitch burned us". Great, great Mac ep all around.
I have a whole post further down about that episode. It's one of my favorites too. It's flat out hilarious and it also introduces the dynamics of the "gang" really well for first timers.
When he & Dennis pass out from the wicker furniture fumes and Charlie says:
The first episode I play for other people as an introduction to Sunny is S5 Ep2 "The Gang Hits the Road". It's got Mac beaning some poor bike rider in the head with a beer bottle, drunk Sweet Dee singing "Runaway Train" to a hitchhiker, Charlie and Dennis setting the wicker furniture on fire to roast hot dogs &…
Gasoline fight in memoriam?
I went to that show too! The whole thing was surprisingly good actually. If I remember right, Veruca Salt was a part of that tour too. Ah, the 90's….

So who all's been punched in the face?
This has quietly become the best feature on Av Club. Thanks Teti.
Do you?
Thanks to this article I discovered that the entire Darkwing Duck series is currently up on YouTube. The video isn't the best, but you take what you can get, ya' know?
Let it go.
That's your answer to everything.
And that's the real tragedy here.
I was going to ask the same thing. I always looked at it as more or less a psychological type thriller than anything else. Also, I just rewatched it about a year or so ago for maybe the first time since I'd seen it in theaters & found it painfully dull.
The Ring was a terrible, terrible movie in my humble opinion. Not even a little scary. I went with a roommate of mine who jumps at just the thought of something frightening & she even was nonplussed. Don't know if it was because of the hype surrounding it that we were just expecting too much, but I really, really,…
