I have a 2009 Cayenne GTS (405hp V8) with a stick. Greatest SUV of all time. Less than 200 sold in the US.

No, it was actually a lemon. I had one with one of the bad C510 transmissions. Basically, the syncros were poorly made and shifting into 1st and 2nd was basically impossible. It sat in the shop for 51 days waiting for a new transmission from Italy at which point Chrysler voluntarily bought the car back.

This is exactly how I felt about my 500 Abarth, right up until the car blew up in my face. Loved it in the city because it felt like a hero at low speeds, but the second it was introduced to a track or twisty road, it all kind of fell apart. That and the seats were not designed for the human spine.

In soviet Russia, water drink you.

Have you driven in the rain in southern California? The road practically turns to ice...

Did you just call the 500L a “future classic”?

I don’t want to Northsplain to you, Anna, but you have to rent a snowmobile.

What did they expect? SUVs aren’t built for the track.

Talk about a shitty stance to take on race.

I saw it in a Car & Driver or Motortrend back in 98. At the time I was driving a more pedestrian version that I was absolutely smitten with: a 1994 Mercedes C280 with that crisp 200hp M104 inline 6, dark green with tan leather interior. I thought it was the perfect car, despite how “old lady” my friends (correctly)

This is me and her. Before you all laugh and laugh at the idea that a 300C can be a dream car, let me give background.

I do agree the Spider is the best to drive. I eventually got to drive one (different owner) and I loved it. It drew a ton of attention on a summers night. I was looking for a supra to race so I could say “More than you can afford pal, Ferrari!”, but there were none in sight.

HAHAHAHAHAHA please tell me your argument that being able to afford a 7 series or fucking Maserati does not make you rich is a joke.

This woman died and you’re like, “Eh, must’ve slept with somebody.”

All top-level drift cars these days would make monstrous track-cars with only minor adjustments to suspension geometry, R-compound tires, and some upgraded brakes. The brakes are really the only major thing that separates a drift car from a track car.

If it makes you feel better, most drift cars can be turned into pretty damn compitent track cars without that much work. Having a bunch of steering lock isn’t going to make your car undrivable on the track or anything and drift cars aren’t set up to just randomly oversteer. Keep your hand away from the e-brake and

Due to weather conditions, the pilot wanted to abort the landing, but Pence was extremely opposed to it.

It’s an XT - 2.5 turbo, 250hp. Car and Driver clocked the 5MT version doing 0-60 in 5.3sec back when it first came out.

It won’t last. He’s too good for her.

I have a 2015 TSI, not TDI, but one of the reasons I bought a VW was because of the company’s overall commitment to being eco-friendly. Am I entitled to anything?
