Because the people in Hong Kong collectively and nearly unanimously recognise bad governance, and nearly half of the people in the US celebrate it, fantasising that their symbol of manhood, the AR-15, could even hold off a modern SWAT team for more than 5 seconds.

That picture shows us quite clearly what is wrong with Cadillac. That thing looks like a Honda Pilot with different grilles and lights.  It isn’t interesting, and luxury cars sell on being interesting.

If you know what a crankshaft without balancing weights looks like, a flat-plane type can be laid down flat on a table. A cross-plane crankshaft will have crank journals sticking up no matter how you lay it on the table. The crankshaft configuration basically determines the firing order and the basic sound tone of an

The crank configuration also drastically affects the firing order and the resulting sound.  Ford’s Voodoo has a ^v^v crank whereas Ferrari uses ^vv^ (the same configuration as an inline-4).

All the young’uns and the libtards and the Chicoms and soshalists, amirite?

Agreed, I’m in the South Bay and have also lived in cities where a car is not only unnecessary but even a burden.

I don’t give a crap about their flight arrangements and people of their kind don’t really get to choose their daily transportation methods anyway.

Not directly related to dating, but it’s most cringey to see children treating waiters that way. Tells you so, so, so much about the parents.

In the bubble era, manufacturers could afford to give their economy cars personality in the following ways:

No, but enough salesmen talking about it will convince buyers to care.

Wow that’s the full package, including the tilted license plate mount wing + hatch combo

The S-class has the traditional grille with the hood ornament, though. I don’t think you can get the big grille star there.

The MB illuminated star is the only car “feature” that my wife ridicules with passion equal to mine. It reeks of desperation and attention-seeking and plays right into the entry-level MB crowd.

This isn’t supposed to make sense, and we generally expect no better from his crowd these days.

The Camry is excellent at doing what it is designed to do, but I don’t imagine even a V6 XSE ever inspiring me to take it up the mountains.

That’s certainly true, but many of those smaller / commercial models consistently cost more than their competition regardless, at least up front. Perhaps they’re more reliable / cheaper to own in the long run, but I don’t live in Europe so I have no anecdotal evidence.
