This isn’t “the same problem.” The problem is that there was a criminally low number of female directed episodes of TV and female directors in general. This is increasing that number, but it’s not going to suddenly replace every single male director of other shows with female directors.

That’s not what this is about at all. For one thing, there are a number of male characters on the show and they will be directed by female directors. Meaning your logic is incorrect.

The “all female game characters must be sexy,” thing is something that is often overlooked as an issue, even though female characters shouldn’t ONLY be sexy, and should be able to be a wide variety of personality types, body figures, face types, etc. That concept is limiting…

I disagree. It clarifies their position. Too many devs cower and wouldn’t say a thing. I like that they’re actually sticking to their guns here, and saying something that did need to be said.
