This sort of thing is why I can't get into military-style games. I just can't see how it is fun. I can get into something more removed, like Fallout, but military shooters have always rubbed me the wrong way.

Let's not forget that she was also the best part of The Brothers Bloom.

Sorry, but at the end of the day, console gaming is just less hassle. There are too many variables involved in a pc to ever be as reliable as a console. I spend all day fixing network and server issues. I don't want to troubleshoot at all once I get home.

Sure, put up a photo of the last good PC game pad. Then remember it was built more than a decade ago, and nothing since has matched the build quality. Even from the same manufacturer.

Three months after the compact disc hit retail, there were more people listening to the Beatles' White Album on vinyl or cassette than on CD.

Never been a Shoe fan, myself. Although he occasionally took some sort of stance on improving games journalism, he often came across to me as kind of hypocritical. I can't go back and look it up now, but I seem to recall that he took different stances on multi-console play during the previous console generation;

Apparently many of the eBayers waited to see how it sold online before picking up preorders at GameStop, so you may see some become available there after the 48-hour hold is up.

When an acorn hits the ground, I believe it becomes a person.

Talk about a Catch-22. If they use a non-user-replaceable battery, they are limiting user choice. If they use a standard, easily replaced battery, they are stupid.

No, your vague and clever wordplay has left me utterly flabbergasted. Would you throw her an unbirthday party or something?

A six-month upgrade cycle is pretty much unheard of in ANY industry, even tech. Apple has been crunching releases closer and closer every year.
