@monkey314159: No, I'd say the situation we're in is pretty much proof no one cares until it's too late. It's not as if this is the world's first oil spill.

I'm shocked at how many of these were already in my Netflix Queue, which has grown to over 600 titles between disc and instant lists.

@ieatbabies: I'd agree that Child of Eden was one of the best things to come out of this E3, but I don't think I'd spend $400 just to play it.

@Chance Hamlin: I'd re-read that section. They said there were times they wish they could go back. Of course there are. Less responsibility and stress are often nice. When I worked retail, there were often times that I realized that being an assistant manager was far easier than a store manager. And during those weeks

@bkld18: Yes, by turing off the Sensor Bar and not reading the accelerometer, the Wii can indeed display HD visuals, which is being done for the first time with Metroid: Other M.

Check it out! Batman modded his bike with an iPad!

@Wowzur: Tell me something: is 100% a lot? Because on or around launch, Ubisoft's servers went down and no one who bought the PC version of Assassin's Creed II could play it.

... I can ... almost see it...

@Lite: an adventurer is me!: Of course it's coming. Eventually. That's the problem. There's no known timetable, and around here Verizon and AT&T are wiping the floor with them. I wouldn't be surprised to hear that US Cellular and Cricket are outselling them.

It's total bunk. They told me I was among these "hotties." I can assure you I'm not. I'm not repulsive or anything, but "stud" is a word that no one would ever use to define me.

@DrewCSchultz: At my home just north of Chicago, I get 3G. It's not as fast as it should be, but it's bearable. If I travel to my parent's house, 50 miles northwest, I switch from 3G to Edge just by walking from one room to another.

I know they're focusing on the coasts first, but 3G in Chicago has been a joke so far. One of the biggest cities in the US, and I have yet to hit 750 kbps.

@Arken: Yes, but it is still transmitting. True, search uses more power, but if the DSi is any indication, we'll still end up with 10 or more hours of battery life.

@8oardR1der: Spoken like someone who has never been to a business convention.

@JEmlayUSA: Hell yeah, assaulting. That's your home for a week. Imagine coming home to find ads all over the place.

@Arken: Not necessarily. iPad gets over 10 hours of battery life on WiFi. Granted, the battery is a lot bigger. But so is the screen.

@Maori_Yelir: Did they say no capacitive touch? I don't think they made an announcement either way.

@Britton: Since nothing has been announced yet, I wouldn't count that out. If they expand the video playback to allow anyone to put video on it, it should be possible.

Still a custom hard drive? Come on, Microsoft. This ridiculously overpriced, normally-available-off-the-shelf accessory nonsense to to STOP. The PS3 has used standard SATA drives from DAY ONE.

The real question is:
