I haven’t invested a lot of time in this since I don’t even watch the show, but I don’t think even they have any hard feelings toward Scott that I’ve seen. I’m sure there’s a couple wackjobs because there always is, but they seem to know he’s just a dude doing a job. They’re pissed about their guy obviously, but

Nice. I can’t wait to finally see The Man Who Killed Don Quixote after all this time.

Even more fun facts: Laserface would actually be the one who’s been banned (not left in or demoted to the greys.... banned) from other sites like io9 for being the troll. Once upon a time he was a fairly normal commenter who went round the bend a few years back. As a matter of course now, he’s adjusted his behaviour

Still higher than AV Club user confidence.

Netflix needs to mind its own damn business and stop asking me if I’m still watching. “I’ll fuckin’ tell you when we’re done here, Netflix!

I don’t see Joss Whedon (in general but especially the Firefly ones) on there so this whole thing is invalid.

She was heading into surgery at the end of the last episode and had also been popping too many painkillers.  I’d be surprised if they went any other direction than she died from complications in that.

The AV Club’s headline writer took the buyout.

The book is fantastic. Pretty easy to knock out in an afternoon. A bit more intense and darker than the movie, I thought, but the movie was a damn solid adaptation.

Looks right up my alley. I’m a fan of that whole cycle of suspense-thrillers like Sea of Love, D.O.A., Presumed Innocent, Shattered, Basic Instinct, etc... that came out in a few years on either side of that. Great cast. Just the sight and sound of Carolco and TriStar logos is enough to put me in a good mood. And I

Yes.

Ted Stevens. And to be fair, that’s been taken a bit out of context by everyone in the larger point he was making. He definitely didn’t state it well though.

Goddammit.

Now playing

The Last Emperor and then his appearance on Ridley Scott’s Black Rain soundtrack (with Zimmer doing the actual score) was my introduction to Sakamoto. I’ve picked up quite a few of his over the years. He’d be an interesting choice as well.

Not Penny’s starship.

You know what, kid? You probably think this is funny, which is pathetic. But on the off-chance you’re serious, here’s the number to people who would do anything they could to help you... 24 hours a day.

I wasn’t crazy about the theatrical release of Daredevil, but the R-rated director’s cut that added back in 30 minutes of footage made for a smoother, more fleshed out experience.  It felt more like the source material.

I love Bulworth.
