There are already mandatory vaccines for public schools, entry to the U.S., and entry to many other countries around the world.

Do we know how old the car is/when he got it? I could see a scenario where he’s showing his new car to his friend, they don’t put on seatbelts because they figure “hey, we’re just taking it around the neighborhood.”

In New York I’ve heard about the “Excelsior Pass” which is a digital pass that saves your vaccine/negative test info. I looked into it but it looked like you needed to have both shots before you sign up and I’ve only had my first dose so far.

Kind of reminds me of how recently the FBI (and other federal agencies) were considering loosening their “no-weed ever” rule - but not because they were becoming cool with weed, but because barely anyone in their applicant pool had NEVER smoked weed even once.

I bought one last year for the hell of it just to see what it was like (and for the nostalgia of my college days). It was NOT good. WAYYY sweeter/weirder cough syrup taste than any other seltzers I’ve had. Decent buzz though...

I actually saw one pretty recently in New York City. I spotted it very briefly as my Uber was turning so I didn’t get a great look at it.

Interesting. I had it late last March and I’m pretty sure I’m back 100% to tasting. I think I’m mostly back with smell too, but there’s some things my girlfriend will say smell but I don’t really notice.

Oh definitely

Port Authority is bad, but has its own itinerant charms

Other worst case is you get two (or more) co-workers sitting together and working while talking the entire time and basically having meetings. No thanks.

Yeah I don’t think he loved Atlanta...

What are your thoughts on the etiquette of looking at other people’s profiles on your account? My girlfriend and I share an account (we live together) and recently her brother asked if he and his fiancé could use it so we said sure and I set up profiles for the two of them.

I think they still have them.

My girlfriend will mock me sometimes for liking Pixar movies, but I got her to watch Ratatouille with me (also my favorite) and she was nearly in tears at the end and loved it.

Yeah I feel like these types fall more into the “flatbread” category. Especially the way his is presented.

Years ago I was in Greece and every meal we wanted to get Hummus but weren’t seeing it on any menus. We ended up ordering other dips, especially Fava dip, and it turned out that’s what actual Greeks used instead of Hummus. Turns out Hummus is more Turkish than Greek.

Look how well that worked for Michelle Obama...

I’ll go and have a couple weeks in the summertime where I’ll kinda go all out.

I was once looking through an ex’s grandmother’s apartment and we found her law school yearbook from the mid 1930s (I think it was 1938) and there were a few guys with Hitler ‘staches and we laughed and figured that was probably about the last year people could pull it off without having it be associated with him.
