Twice. Both in high school when I had the habit of only filling up the tank part way to save money (high school logic).

Ohhh, I thought Young Rock was 30 Rock’s origin story.

I wrote this three years ago. I really should’ve written the full thing. Disney, I’ll be waiting for your call.

Yeah I’m sure it wasn’t the healthiest thing.

I wonder if down the road they’ll do a full re-brand including new packaging. Right now if they changed both the name and the packaging I bet no one would buy it. They need the familiar look for the time being so people instinctively grab it off the shelf. Hopefully they can re-brand in the future and make it

My mom used to make her own syrup for us. Once every two months or so (I think?) she’d get out the pot, add the sugar and water and cook it down, then add maple extract. She’d cool it then pour it in one of those old brown syrup jugs.

My cousins’ other grandmother was from Texas and once she came with them to our other grandparents for Christmas or something, and she asked my grandmother for some cane syrup for her pancakes. My yankee ass had never seen that before and was so confused why she was basically pouring thick water on her pancakes.

In college there was this great pizza place that served a “salad pizza” that I’d order every so often. (If I wanted to feel “healthy”-ish) They’d take a cheese slice, run the slicer over it a few times so it basically cut into 1 inch diamonds, then they’d pile a garden salad on top and serve with dressing. It was

Not a president but I remember hearing stories that Mario Cuomo would sneak out of the Governor’s Mansion in Albany to head over to a basketball court in a nearby park and play pick up basketball.

To me, both she and Shelton looked like deepfakes. It looked like their heads were greenscreened on some body double. Maybe they actually were because of Covid protocols? It looks super weird.

I almost wonder if the spike is due to people reading the article, going “who?”, then pulling up Spotify/Apple Music/Etc to listen to one of his songs to see who he is.

This just happened to me the other day. I have a brand new one with 0 podcasts, music or photos on it, and couldn’t get it below 2.2GB free. Luckily I just shut it down, restarted and it was able to update. But it’s still super dumb to have a watch that I can’t update easily.

(Was Goldberg supposed to share his actor’s ethnicity, or was he supposed to be Latino? I forget.)

The only thing I can think of is if you’re making school/work lunches. I’d guess that the slices aren’t super wet so it might keep the sandwich from getting soggy while it sits before you eat?

I think technically you are supposed to pat dry marinated meats before searing them.

Homemade Caesar dressing is a game changer. I can’t go back to bottled either.

Looking at the menu, the cheapest steak is a $55 10z Filet - but now way is a “big strong American man” like Trump is getting the 10z Filet. He probably goes with the $60 16oz Strip or the $70 22oz Cowboy - and just absolutely destroying it.
