Sorry dude, but fans like you are the bottom of the barrel when it comes to real Star Wars fans. You take a few stories as an insult and say, “Hey the fans could have done better.” What you’re saying is that fans who for years had been consuming EU, growing attached to their own head canon, could tell the story better…

How dare you lump “super-fans” in with people who took the Prequels as an insult? I eat, sleep, and breathe Star Wars, and I acknowledge that the Prequels were lacking in the actual film department - in terms of what makes a movie in general good or bad. But the story they tell is superb - complex and powerful.
