Oh boy, I meant, “Jewish communities in Kerala and Syrian Catholics”

lol, keep fighting the good fight, Eileen. You have the patience of a saint.

Have you seen a typical North East Indian? Or a South Indian tribal? Parsis? You don’t even have to go that far back. Caste is not equal to race. are you of Indian descent or are you just speaking from the experience of having an Indian friend?

& North east Indians, most of the tribal groups don’t belong to the aryan or dravidian racial groups. Many have Greek, Saka and Ethiopian genes as well. *sigh*

Edited : Nvm, I pretty much said the same thing in the other comment. Sorry!

She tries to flirt with Common in one episode lol, except he thinks she’s a terrorist or something. I think she shows a positive trend in terms of taking criticism, so hopefully there’ll be more roles for PoC next season

Gahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh :(

The recent season had a sort of diverse cast, and a very diverse list of guest appearances. *shrug*

Don’t forget Nikki Haley lol. I don’t think Mindy’s that bad, at least she listens to criticism, unlike Lena Dunham or Schumer or whoever. Her brother, although, is the absolute WORST.

She isn’t the only POC on her show, there are two or three now I think. Even though the black woman’s characterization her first season was absolutely painful to watch, but luckily its better now and Kaling does make digs about being the only PoC in some episode or another. I re-watched the show again, and I wish it

They’re best friends, no?

She makes jokes about wanting to be white in her book, and her character is a self absorbed woman who wants to be white (have blue eyes) etc. I mean, as a POC, growing up there were moments I wished I had blue eyes or had paler skin, and I feel like Mindy Kaling has been there and she gently pokes fun at herself for

I mean, it’s kind of hard to come up with fresh answers to the same question for the 500000000th time

LOL k hon

The part I hate most is them explaining it away on being “an old”

No, it’s some random picture, not the one of the woman

I find myself growing increasingly intolerant to people who commit Shade faux-pas.

It’s been used since foreevveeer. But anyway, What’s good is usually like asking someone what’s up, right? In this context, Nicki is basically ‘asking’ Miley is she has a problem with her.
