Real question here, how would you go about parallel parking a Tesla in a tight space or easing it into a garage with all that damn torque!?

I just drive with my face.

Say what you will about hitting the wrong pedal, but it's actually a malady common to all cars, not just the Tesla Model S. Until we all hand control over to our new robot overlords, it's never going to be eradicated.

Sorry. I forgot to add *sarcasm*

Tesla will have to take the car back to their factory to fix it, and that will obviously cause some harm to the consumer since they were deprived of having to deal with a franchised dealer to get the car repaired.

Wait till it happens to you. It's more common than you think.

I can get behind adjustable. Let's do that. Especially because it should be pretty simple to do. I read your initial response as calling for cars to protect themselves from the users, but I see what you are getting at now.

At least make it adjustable, for God's sake. It's the same sort of gripe people have against electric power steering, that's it's too easy, it doesn't feel like the steering they had in their last car, etc. It has to feel right, no matter who's driving it. It's not about "nannys" or anything like that, so check

I think I am going to have to disagree. How about we are all responsible for our own actions, and keep the nannys to a minimum? No need to (possibly) handicap the pedal response because one person couldn't manage to use it properly?

Got to drive a P85+ pretty hard and yeah, the only thing more impressive than how quick it accelerated was how HARD the regenerative breaking kicks in on the aggressive setting if you take your foot off the accelerator quickly

ugh. "ICE" needs to stay on the tesla owner's forum. To me, it's still a car.
